Who I am.

I’ve long been a hiker, swimmer, cyclist and dancer with a passion for being outside, and in my five years in the Pacific Northwest, I’ve been taking full advantage of all the beauty and wonder this area of the world has to offer! I love connecting with people through active hobbies and learning new skills in my community (paddleboarding and pickleball were new to me when I first came here!)

I also teach and have a passion for lifelong learning and fostering curiosity about our bodies and how we move through the world. I started my career in bioengineering and biomechanics, and love applying that knowledge to very real world, practical situations. Ask me about a free body diagram or the types of levers in our bodies and get ready for a very excited spiel!

My Why.

I’m a firm believer in the transformative power of joyful movement! Over the last 15+ years, dancing and hiking have been my “thing”-- the activities that have made a profound impact on my life. They have changed my relationships with myself and my community, as well as my perspective of the world. Recognizing that everyone has their unique way of moving, I aim to empower people to excel in their “thing;” That means with more confidence, less pain, and more joy!

What I do.

My focus as a PT is on helping people move with strength, confidence and enjoyment in all the activities they love. I think of the body as one unit with each part affecting all the others in one big kinetic chain. With my background in biomechanics, I break down your sport and hobbies into their component parts to address injuries, improve technique and optimize your performance.

Physical therapy is a form of active care, and works the best when you want to not only recover, but also to learn about the relationship with your body and how it works. Since every body is different, I use a customized evaluation for each client so that I can train you with personalized knowledge and confidence to walk, run or dance throughout your whole life.

Whether you’re rehabbing from an injury or prepping for an upcoming event, I’m here to help you meet your goals!
