Who I am.

I was born and raised in North Seattle and I feel so lucky to have grown up in the wonderful PNW. I’ve spent my life hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and taking full advantage of the lovely nature around this city. I am always up for trying new sports, but currently I am most passionate about bouldering as I find it an excellent combination of flexibility, strength, endurance and puzzle solving.

Other than my outdoor interests I am an avid animal lover. I currently own two adorable cats and will make any excuse to take my parent’s dog to the park. I love cooking and trying new recipes. The recipes might not always turn out perfectly but the process is always fun. I also enjoy trying to tap into my creative side by water-coloring and making wire sculptures.

As a PT I want to get you back to doing the things you love the most. Whether you’re getting back into a walking program following an injury or you’re planning to backpack the Pacific Crest Trail, no goal is too big or too small.

My Why.

I grew up with a family who was always active and this helped model a path to a healthy and happy life. I knew early on that I wanted to help everyone achieve their healthiest lifestyle, and being a PT allows me to work one on one with patients in order to reach their goals. I am so happy to be in this field as there is never a boring day. Every single patient is different and it is so fun creating individualized treatment plans to fit your specific needs.

What I do.

During treatment sessions my goal is to empower you with the skills necessary to get you back to doing whatever you love and to prevent future injury. Treatment sessions can include body mechanics analysis, strengthening, stretching, balance training, motor control training, manual therapy and education.

Education is a key component because I believe understanding the “why this works” is crucial to the healing process and preventing re-injury. Each treatment plan is individualized because no two people are the same. Your treatment will be based off of more than just what injury you have, but instead will consider all aspects of your life in order to fit your needs.
