Running and Outdoor Athlete Specialist
Who I am.
I am a physical therapist, outdoor enthusiast, and runner with a passion for guiding others through their rehabilitation journey from start to finish. I am passionate about nature and living an active lifestyle, and find these so beneficial for the mind, body and soul! I hope to get you back out there moving, and doing the things that bring you joy and meaning in life!
My Why.
I grew up in San Francisco playing all sorts of sports with my brothers, dad, people in the neighborhood and on various teams. I played competitive basketball, running, and rowed for the University of Washington crew team. I had decided to go into the personal training field because of my love for living an active lifestyle! During that time, I was also rehabilitating from a car accident. I slowly regained my fitness, renewed my love for movement, and participated in a few triathlons.
I desired to learn more about the science of movement and went to physical therapy school. I did an Orthopedic Residency after PT school which involved mentorship and continued training. I continue to enjoy reading research studies, learning about movement, and the science and psychology behind pain. My hope is to mesh my knowledge, clinical experience, and experience as a competitive and noncompetitive athlete in order to help you get back to what brings you joy.
What I do.
My role as a physical therapist is to listen to your story, help you figure out what is going on, and guide and educate you throughout your rehabilitation journey. I have had a few injuries in my life and understand the importance of having a good support system. My goal is to foster a positive and inclusive experience. We will work together as a team to ensure you safely return to the activities that bring meaning and joy to your life. I am also here to help you optimize your fitness goals and prevent injury in your fitness journey.
